Discover the Perfect Snowshoe Style for Your Adventure

At Bearing North Lodge, we know one size doesn’t fit all. Snowshoes come in a variety of designs, each tailored to specific snow conditions and activities. Here’s a glimpse of what we have in our collection:

U.S. Military Magnesium 46-Inch Snowshoes (2-sets)

Built tough for extreme conditions, these snowshoes are your go-to for deep snow and backcountry adventures. The magnesium frame is lightweight yet rugged, and the nylon-coated steel cable webbing provides rock-solid support. Plus, the cleated frame ensures excellent grip on icy trails. Originally crafted for military use, these snowshoes can handle the demands of serious winter adventurers.

Expedition Explorer Plus Snowshoes (2-sizes)

Explorer Plus 821

Lightweight and maneuverable, the 821 is perfect for those weighing up to 150 pounds. Its aluminum frame and dual ratchet bindings ensure a snug fit, while crampons deliver dependable traction. This model is ideal for beginners or anyone exploring packed trails and moderate snow.

Explorer Plus 825

The 825 offers the same great features as the 821 but with a slightly larger frame, supporting up to 200 pounds. It’s a great choice for venturing into deeper snow or carrying extra gear. Both models include a travel bag and trekking poles for a complete snowshoeing experience.

Iverson Modified Bear Paw 12x35 Snowshoes (1-set)

Handcrafted right here in the U.P. from northern white ash, these classic snowshoes combine tradition with innovation. Their compact design and neoprene bindings make them perfect for tight trails and dense forests. Rated for up to 170 pounds, they are ideal for anyone tackling fresh, untouched snow. These snowshoes are as beautiful as they are functional.

Tubbs QuickDraw Jr. Snowshoes (1-set)

Designed for kids weighing 70 to 130 pounds, these vibrant red snowshoes are lightweight, sturdy, and fun! The QuickDraw binding system makes them easy for kids to strap on themselves, while the durable aluminum frame ensures they’re ready for both packed trails and fresh powder.

We also just added two more pairs of childrens snowshoes!
